In Amsterdam, we carried out the exterior painting on a characteristic three-story townhouse. The woodwork of the front door, frames, and dormers was heavily weathered: the paint was peeling off and there was wood rot at the bottom of the frames.
From bare wood to sustainable finish
From the scaffolding, we sanded all the woodwork completely bare and repaired the affected wood with expert wood rot repair. Next, we built up a new paint system starting from the bare wood, from primer to a smooth topcoat. This ensures the facade is protected against the elements for years to come.
